The family members of Arizona District Four House Representative Paul Gosar (including the ones that endorsed his Democratic opponent in 2018) need to stage an intervention and stop him from using his Twitter account.
Earlier in the year, Mr. Gosar brought attention to himself when revelations were published of his fondness for following white nationalists (including ones that admire Hitler) and conspiracy theorists Twitter accounts.
On Christmas Eve, Mr. Gosar showed the holiday spirit (for Trump Zone and Fox Island residents) by tweeting

Apparently, Mr. Gosar thinks the light almost hitting the Clinton was something to celebrate.
Suffice it to say, reaction to Mr. Gosar’s world view has been largely condemned.
Unfortunately, as AZ Central reports, approximately 12,000 people also clicked their approval of the tweet.
That is repulsive. No matter a person’s mainstream political beliefs, no one should wish them harm.
Gosar’s likely Democratic opponent in 2020, Delina DiSanto is one of the many who questioned Gosar’s viewpoints and taste, commenting on social media that:
“We will no longer tolerate his blatant bigotry and sexism. On Christmas Eve, he tweeted a video from 60 Minutes in 1992 of Hillary Clinton almost getting hit on the head with light. Bill Clinton is there, and with his reflexes, covers her for safety. Was Gosar amused by the thought of HRC getting physically hurt? This is not the kind of person we need making decisions for us. He’s gotta go.”
The people of Arizona Congressional District Four can do better than Paul Gosar.
He is not a credit to public service.
Hopefully, the majority of them will take a political New Years Resolution in 2020 to replace him.
