AG Kris Mayes Says Her Office Is Investigating The Fake GQP Electors

Arizona had two sets of fake GQP electors in 2020 who were intent on reversing the results of the presidential election in Arizona through their illegal actions.

The first group of fake GQP electors were the self-appointed wack job “Sovereign Citizen” fake GQP electors:

The second group of fake Republican electors was the Arizona Republican Party’s “official” slate of fake GQP electors, including state Rep. Jake Hoffman, defeated GQP candidate for U.S. Senate Jim Lamon, defeated Rep. Anthony Kern, who was present at the January 6 insurrection (now a state senator), and Arizona Republican Party Chair “Chemtrails” Kelli Ward and her husband.

The Department of Justice reportedly is investigating the fake GQP electors scheme, but it is not known how far along the DOJ and Special Counsel Jack Smith are in their investigations.

Former Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich aka “Nunchucks” (or is it numbnuts?), a Republican, never pursued the fake GQP electors for their criminal misconduct during his last two years in office. This was a coverup to protect prominent Republicans from any accountability for their criminal misconduct. It was also Nunchuck’s pathetic attempt to appeal to the MAGA/Qanon GQP crazy base in his failed bid for the Republican nomination for Senate. He should be held accountable for his abuse of his office.

Newly elected Democratic Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes was a guest on MSNBC’s Alex Wagner Tonight, and was asked whether her office will investigate the two sets of fake GQP electors in Arizona. She replied that her office will investigate the fake GQP electors.

Here’s hoping that all 22 fake GQP electors from Arizona, and everyone else who was a participant in this conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding of Congress, will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. They need to be made an example to deter this illegal conduct in the future. There must be consequences and accountability.

The fake GQP electors should lawyer up.
