When I finally gave up and went to bed Tuesday night, Andrew Thomas was unbelievably leading the GOP primary for Attorney General. That says more about the character of the voters who voted for such a corrupt and unethical candidate than it does about Andrew Thomas. What the hell is wrong with you people? Snap out of it!
As of Wednesday morning Tom Horne, also a corrupt and unethical candidate, had opened a narrow 373 vote lead over Andrew Thomas.
Maricopa County Recorder Helen Purcell estimated that workers still have 82,000 early ballots left to process and count. Pima County is also slow in reporting results (again).
In the Democratic primary for Attorney General, Felecia Rotellini was holding onto a 1,350 vote lead over Rep. David Lujan as of Wednesday morning.
Arizona law calls for a recount if the margin is the lesser of two numbers: 200 votes or fewer, or less than one-tenth of 1 percent of the total votes cast. In this case, the 200-vote figure is less than one-tenth of one percent of the ballots cast in the attorney general's race and will therefore be the standard used for the recount. Arizona primary election: Horne takes lead over Thomas in tight AG race
The Thomas-Horne contest from hell may be heading for a full recount. If they had an ounce of decency, both men would simply withdraw from the race.

I’d rather have correct Pima county election results a week late than incorrect election results delivered “on time”. The rush to results is a bad influence.
“…If they had an ounce of decency, both men would simply withdraw from the race.”
If they had an ounce of decency, they wouldn’t be the Tom Horne and Andrew Thomas that we’ve come to know and be embarrased by.
