“That’s right! We’re going virtual this year!
2020 has been a year to remember. AIDSWALK is such an important event for us and we couldn’t let the pandemic stop us. Creating a community event to honor those we have lost too soon and those that are living with HIV/AIDS is near and dear to us. In order to continue this tradition while maintaining our clients, supporters, and volunteers’ safety a top priority, we have decided to go virtual this year. We hope you will join us for this unprecedented AIDSWALK!
This is how AIDSWALK will happen this year!
Registration is Now Open!
Once you register, your walk experience starts immediately.
You will receive a link to resources and videos on how to fundraise, engage your community to support your goal, and even some tips on how to get others involved.
As a registered participant, you will have access to weekly emails that may contain offers from local businesses, information on AIDSWalk contests, fun educational videos, and more!
You are encouraged complete your walk whenever and wherever it is convenient for you! This means, that you can participate regardless of your current location, even if you’re not in Tucson. You will be part of a global effort!
OCTOBER 12-18 will be the Virtual AIDSWALK Drive-thru Registration, Celebration, Programming and Ceremony.
Expect some live-streamed events, a virtual Quilt Ceremony, some engaging programs from our incredible in-house educators, cameos from well-known faces in the community, expert panels and more!
Our goal this year is to have 1,000 registered participants, with the exciting new additions to this year’s festivities and ceremonies we think we can do it. Will you help us reach that goal?
