‘Alex, I would like to buy a vowel…’

Posted by AzBlueMeanie:

I have seen campaign signs for Jennifer Rawson, a Tea-Publican candidate for the Ward 2 City Council seat in Tucson, pop up in the public right-of-way along Speedway Boulevard this week.

The editors at the Arizona Daily Star must be clutching their pearls in horror. Complaining about candidate campaign signs accounts for about half of their "election coverage" every election cycle.

Unfortunately for them, our Tea-Publican Arizona legislature passed a law superceding local government sign ordinances to permit candidates to post campaign signs in the public right-of-way. (Yes, the Star has already done an editorial opinion whining about this law). What will the Star have to write about?

Anyway, I don't know much about Ms. Rawson, a political newcomer, so I decided to check out her web site and see where she stands on the issues. It appears that Ms. Rawson is not ready for prime time. Here is a screen shot of her issues page.

"Alex, I would like to buy a vowel…" Then again, what Tea-Publicans believe is all gobbledegook anyway, so maybe this is accurate and in some kind of secret Tea Party code.
