Trump is having another deranged hissy fit on Truth Social, where he wrote about Democratic leaders, “Seditious behavioir from traitors!!! Lock them up??? Hang them. George Washington would!!”
- Trump is the traitor who enabled the January 6 domestic terrorist attack on the Nation’s Capitol and then pardoned the insurrectionists.
- He was impeached twice.
- He’s a felon who has been convicted of 34 crimes.
- White Nationalist Trump is trying to normalize ICE agents kidnapping innocent people off the streets without due process.
- The armchair deferment warrior who has illegally bombed boats in the Caribbean.
- Who changed the name of the Defense Department to the “War Department.”
- Who held a suspicious pow wow with the military’s senior commanders.
- The autocratic syncophant who hosted the Saudi prince who had a Washington Post Journalist executed and dismembered
- The American Duce wannabe whose Coast Guard will no longer classify images like the swastika as a hate symbol.
Unfortunately, when he has an episode, people get threatened, innocents get attacked, and at events like January 6, 2021, people die. What caused the aspiring fascist tyrant to have his latest mental meltdown? Please see the two posts below.
In the first post, Senators Elissa Slotkin and Mark Kelly, along with Representatives Chris Delusion, Maggie Goodlander, Crissy Houlahan, and Jason Crow — all former military veterans — called on all active-duty service members to follow the Constitution and legal precedent and disobey any illegal orders issued by the Trump Administration.
The group, in their public call to the nation’s active military, said:
“We know this is hard and that it’s a difficult time to be a public servant. But whether you’re serving in the CIA, the Army, the Navy, or the Air Force, your vigilance is critical. And know that we have your back. Because now, more than ever, the American People need you. We need you to stand up for our laws, our Constitution, and who we are as Americans. Don’t give up the ship.”
In the second post, Senator Slotkin called for a public hearing for Trump’s representatives at the Defense and Homeland Security Departments to testify and make their case for deploying troops on American Streets.
In her remarks, Slotkin said:
“There’s been a lot of controversy. A lot of people got upset about the video, and let me just say they are trying to wield fear to get us to stop talking about this issue. They don’t want to be talking about the deployment of the military in our streets, the deployment of federal law enforcement in our streets. They don’t want to have that public conversation because they know it goes to the heart of who we are as Americans as a Democracy. And so we have a way to deal with this. The Secretary of Defense and the Secretary of Homeland Security could do a public hearing.“
“Have the American People hear directly from them on the point of having U.S military and U.S law enforcement deployed to American cities. Let the American Public hear that conversation. I can’t think of something that’s more fundamental to who we are as Americans. Our Founding Fathers would certainly want to have that conversation. So we should have a public hearing. Congress should do its job. My colleagues, the Chairwomen and Chairmen of these committees, should hold these hearings. I think the Secretary of Homeland Security and the Secretary of Defense should sit side by side and explain to the American people why it is we need to deploy these forces into American cities.”
Reacting to both videos, Mr. Trump posted this on Truth Social:

Just so people are clear:
- The military follows the legal orders of the Commander in Chief.
- Having political representatives remind members of the military not to follow illegal orders is not sedition or treason.
- It is law-abiding patriotism.
The only traitor who deserves to be locked up is Trump, the author of the January 6, 2021, domestic terrorist attack on the Capitol in his attempt to stage a coup to overthrow the results of a legitimate election that he lost.
If that is not sedition and treason, I do not know what is.
Reacting to the threat made against him, Senator Kelly and the others in the November 18 social media video jointly posted:
“We are veterans and national security professionals who love this country and swore an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. That oath lasts a lifetime, and we intend to keep it. No threat, intimidation, or call for violence will deter us from that sacred obligation. What’s most telling is that the President considers it punishable by death for us to restate the law.”
“Our servicemembers should know that we have their backs as they fulfill their oath to the Constitution and obligation to follow only lawful orders. It is not only the right thing to do, but also our duty. But this isn’t about any one of us.”
“This isn’t about politics. This is about who we are as Americans. Every American must unite and condemn the President’s calls for our murder and political violence. This is a time for moral clarity. In these moments, fear is contagious, but so is courage. We will continue to lead and will not be intimidated. Don’t Give Up the Ship!”
In an individual post, Senator Kelly wrote:
“I’ve had a missile blow up next to my airplane, been shot at dozens of times by anti-aircraft fire, and launched into orbit — all for my country. I never thought I’d see a President call for my execution. Trump doesn’t understand the Constitution, and we’re all less safe for it.”
He later wrote:
“My wife @GabbyGiffords nearly lost her life in an act of political violence. Words have consequences, especially when they come from the President of the United States.

“What Trump said this morning — that my colleagues and I should be put to death — is dangerous. We can disagree fiercely and say what we think without resorting to stoking violence. Unfortunately, we’ve seen that at every turn, Donald Trump looks for opportunities to divide us.“

Coming to their colleague’s defense, the other members of Arizona’s Democratic Congressional delegation offered their support to Senator Kelly and Constitutional reality.
Senator Ruben Gallego posted:
“The military is not your toy. Service members swore an oath to the Constitution. If that feels like an attack to you, that’s not a loyalty issue. That’s a you issue.”
Representative Adelia Grijalva offered:
“Trump is literally calling for the public execution of his political opponents, including my home state senator @SenMarkKelly. This isn’t leadership – it’s deplorable. All elected officials, regardless of party, must condemn this rhetoric. We don’t need another January 6th.”
Representative Greg Stanton wrote:
“Senator Kelly and these other Members of Congress served our nation honorably and courageously. Trump’s death threats are pathetic and very, very dangerous.”
Walking toward Congress, Representative Yassamin Ansari posted the video below:
In her comments, Representative Ansari said:
“Donald Trump just threatened to hang Democratic members of Congress and Senators. This is officially the most insane and authoritarian action that Donald Trump has taken since taking the Presidency in January. We’ve been saying that he is an authoritarian. He wants to be a king. He wants to be a dictator, and he has officially taken it to an extreme even I did not think was possible or imaginable in the United States of America…”
“They (Democratic members) put out a video to remind members of the military that they have taken an oath to follow the Constitution and follow the law in this country, and they should remember that. And Donald Trump then took to “Truth Social” to say that they can be punished by death.
“This is insane. We are all under so many threats to our lives right now. There have been political assassinations this year against Democrats and Republicans. Everyone is terrified, and the President of the United States, who already incited a violent insurrection right here at the Capitol, is now inciting violence against members of Congress and the Senate.”
“It is unbelievable…Speaker Mike Johnson needs to denounce and condemn this immediately. Every Republican leader. Every person with a platform. This is not a partisan issue. If you cannot speak up and condemn Donald Trump right now for this insane incitement of violence, then history will not remember you well.”
Kelly, Gallego, Grijalva, Stanton, and Ansari are all right in their condemnation of Trump’s latest bout with treasonous and dangerous ignorance and mental instability.

“The military is not (his) toy.”
“It’s deplorable. All elected officials, regardless of party, must condemn this rhetoric. We don’t need another January 6th.”

When people vote in 2026, affordability and the economy will be on the ballot.
So will democracy and the American Ideal.
Do not vote for the people who think what Trump said today was acceptable because it is not and they do not stand for the American Ideal the great majority of the people hold dear.
