The May 1, 2022 Fighting Cancer event, hosted by 2022 Leukemia and Lymphoma Woman of the Year Candidate Anita Malik and highlighted by a question and answer session with Congressional District (CD) One Candidates Jevin Hodge and Adam Metzendorf, raised $16,000 to help combat this deadly disease.
Commenting on the tremendous success of the event, Ms. Malik posted on social media:
She also noted that the proceeds raised will “help Arizona families directly with co-pay assistance, travel stipends, and more.”
Ms. Malik and her team are still raising funds in the fight against Leukemia, Lymphoma, and other forms of cancer.
