Any Arizona Democrats in the 4th Congressional District might want to see what the “Democratic” candidate for Congress’ views on his campaign and his role as a legislator:
“The general election is in a few weeks and as it get’s [sic] closer to that date, the constituents will want to see who can put party lines and personal agendas to the side. Questions may be asked such as, [‘]When I vote, who do I believe will actually try to make things better for me & my family? Who is going to work on ensuring a more stable economy for myself and my neighbors?[‘]
“I want the people in my district to tell me how they feel about the issues: economy, healthcare, employment. What is important to you? My views are irrelevant because MY JOB as Representative would be to ADVOCATE FOR THE MAJORITY… to vote in Congress the way the PEOPLE IN MY DISTRICT ask me to vote. This is not the chance to misuse the trust of the people who voted me into Office, to champion my own personal views and agenda!
“When you are considering who to support as the next Congressman for AZ District 4 House of Representatives, remember what the job entails, REPRESENTING THE PEOPLE.”
So it appears this Democrat would be voting the way the majority of the heavily Republican, right-wing voters of the 4th C.D. want. What’s the point, then, of being a Democrat if you’re going to vote exactly like Paul Gosar?
