  1. So unfortunate that Maine returned Susan Collins to the Senate, while voting for Joe Biden. And that Cal Cunningham in North Carolina couldn’t have waited on that affair until after he took office.

  2. By not voting to end the filibuster to pass voting rights, Sinema is literally working to elect more Republicans.

That’s the message, because that’s f’n literally what she did.

And she voted against blacks voting because that’s one of the GQP’s target groups for voter supression.

I’m thinking Ruben Gallego but I’ll be sending money to anyone who runs against her.

    • Some random person on Twitter said, “A narcissist has a constituency of one.”
      That perfectly describes Sinema.

Saving the filibuster is a lame excuse for what she’s really doing, taking down the Biden presidency and holding the line for her conservative donors who do not want to pay taxes or lower drug prices or shore up the social safety net, etc…She had to stop voting rights legislation so that Republicans can win elections, just as you said.

She doesn’t even look like the same person who ran in 2018. Not my business, of course, but I wonder if the LGBTQ community is just another activist group that she exploited. She’s wreaking havoc on the Democrats and I wonder how much of this was planned and how much is opportunistic.

  3. It’s too bad that all they’ve got for a traitor who is clearly working for the opposition is a vote of no confidence and censure.

I don’t think that $$$inema will be affected by either, but I suppose it’s a good thing that the AZ Democrats get it on the record.

I don’t know how other people feel, but I will never again be shamed into voting for the lesser of two evils. I will never again vote for a bad candidate because of party affiliation.

It’s true that in 2018 no one predicted that Sinema would be a traitor and would be capable of this kind of damage to the Democrats and democracy itself. But there were plenty of red flags that she was a flawed candidate and
Chuck Schumer hand picked her anyhow.

I hope some lessons have been learned. We’ll see.

    • Don’t believe Schumer has learned any lessons, he’s still trying to stack Senate primaries with Conservadems, most of whom, if they get there will go on to lose in the general. At least that’s his history and yet he and the DSCC persist in their behavior. Which is why my donations go directly to the candidates themselves.

      • I haven’t been impressed by Schumer as Majority Leader, not even slightly. I have no idea why they chose him.

        • My guess would be his access to that sweet sweet Wall Street cash & his prerogative to spread it around. Consequence of neoliberalism in action?
