Arizona Representative Trent Franks Accuses Obama Administration of Being Infiltrated by Muslim Brotherhood

By Michael Bryan

This is just embarrassing.

Trent Franks (abortion criminalizer and American Taliban member) has signed on to a letter with wackadoodle conspiracy theorist and former GOP Presidential Reality Show contestant Michelle Bachman claiming that the Obama Administration has been infiltrated by the Muslim Brotherhood.

The evidence? Well, several agencies have been engaging in way too productive and cordial relations with the Muslim Brotherhood of late, doncha know? Can't have anything to do with the Brotherhood playing a major role in the new government of Egypt… no, gotta be a conspiracy.

Here's the letter. Make of it's cracked ranting what you will and weep for the passing of seriousness and discernment in our elected public officials of the GOP brand.

Shame on you, Mr. Franks.

  1. Trent Franks never met a conspiracy theory that he didn’t like. Doesn’t matter that the fruitloop has no idea what he’s talking about or that he spends too much time listening to Bachmann and Frank Gaffney, the Islamophobic Extraordinaire…he’s got an “R” behind his name, so he MUST BE A GOOD LEGISLATOR! This is a man that thinks he should have a say in the laws of Washington DC:(ThinkProgress)
    1) DC WOMEN SHOULDN’T ACCESS ABORTIONS. Rep. Trent Franks (R-AZ) proposed a 20-week abortion ban for the District recently, and was greeted by outrage from residents who haven’t seen Congress offer its assistance on any issues with which they actually would like government assistance — including DC’s cockroach and pothole problems. Franks wouldn’t even let DC’s delegate, Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) speak at the hearing on the bill. Following on Franks’ heels was Rep. Justin Amash (R-MI) who is proposing the “District of Columbia Respect for Life and Conscience Act of 2012.” One of the amendments Paul proposed last night also sought to codify into law a previous ban by Congress on using public funding in DC for abortions.

Unless and until the people in his district start giving a shit about vetting this ignoramous, and voting someone in that has any brain matter at all…he will continue to embarrass the state of AZ.And we all will continue paying his exorbitant salary to promote junk like this, while never doing anything positive for his district or his state.
