In an earlier "Psycho Talk" segment, Ed exposed Senator Obstruction, Jon Kyl, as a tool of the health insurance industry. Arizonans know Kyl is a tool, Ed.

Kyl said no such thing. He said “They don’t need to be kept honest by a competitor from the government”. That is not the same as saying state regulation is sufficient. We have no idea whether he thinks it is or not, from this short clip. Ed completely mis-characterized his statement, as have you.
Where did you get the idea that most Americans want socialized health care? Polling indicates the opposite. While most Americans want to see changes, well over half do not want to see a government takeover, which is what this plan is.
However, this is not a Democracy. It really doesn’t matter if the people want it or not, the Federal Government doesn’t have the constitutional authority to do it.
McCain and his party had eight years to work on healthcare. They weren’t interested then, and they’re not interested now…except in disrupting the process of something most Americans want.
Kyl’s implication is that insurance regulation, as delivered state by state is sufficient, and does not need government intervention.
Anyone who has ever bought insurance, knows the company is robbing you and the state is not protecting you.
That’s what they said.
What are you talking about?
I’m spinning? Listen to their words. They DID NOT say what Ed said they did. It’s right there in plain english.
Wow. What a pathetic attempt to spin out-right lies and distortions. Get real, Brice.
Talk about a spinmaster!!
McCain (who I despise, BTW) did not say there was no Republican input ever. He said AT THE BEGINNING, when the bill was introduced there was no Republican input. This is true. Ed has to pull out amendments to the bill to show Republican participation. Amendments can only occur AFTER a bill is introduced. Go back and listen to what McCain actually said, versus what Ed claims.
Kyl. Same deal. He never said there should be no government regulation. He said they don’t need to be kept honest by a government competitor. That is very different from what Ed claims. Again, watch what is said versus what is claimed to have been said. The words are all there.
