Seems like every Republican is rabid to repeal the Affordable Care Act, called derisively (but ironically sealing Obama's brand on what will be seen as a great, though flawed, legislative achievement) 'ObamaCare'.
Well, some of the things the Act does simply and directly save lives and protect Americans from abusive insurance practices. One is to abolish lifetime benefit caps. "So what?" you ask? Glad you did.

Chris is the author of several books about the intersection of science and public policy, including 'The Republican War on Science' and his latest "The Republican Brain: The Science of Why They Deny Science–and Reality" (a nice excerpt of the book here), blogger, and a host of Point of Inquiry.
