AZ Citizens Clean Elections Commission’s debate schedule for General Election 2022 – updated

The Arizona Citizens Clean Elections Commission has set their candidate debate schedule for the General Election on Nov. 8, 2022.

Legislative debates all at 6 p.m. For Southern Arizona (will add later to the Events calendar once the candidates respond with RSVPs):

LD 17 (open seats) – August 29 (rescheduled to Sept. 14)

Senate: Mike Nickersen (D) vs. Justine Wadsack (R, upset State Senator Vince Leach in the primary)

House (2 seats):  Dana Allmond & Brian Radford (Ds) vs. Rachel Jones & Cory McGarr (Rs)

LD 18  – Sept. 30

Senate (open seat): Priya Sundareshan (D) vs. Stan Caine (R)

House (2 seats):  Nancy Gutierrez & incumbent Chris Mathis (Ds) vs. Linda Evans (R)

LD 19 – Sept. 29

Senate: uncontested

House (2 seats): Sanda Clark (D) vs. Gail Griffin and Lupe Diaz (Rs, incumbents)

LD 20 – Sept. 14 (uncontested, cancelled)

LD 21 – August 23

Senate: incumbent Rosanna Gabaldon (D) vs. Jim Cleveland (R)

House (2 seats): Consuelo Hernandez & Stephanie Hamilton (Ds) vs. Damien Kennedy & Deborah McEwen (Rs)

 

State of Arizona races – all contested except State Mine Inspector (only R running) – Aug. 29 to Oct. 5, at 5  p.m.
