AZ Secretary of State Candidate Adrian Fontes Does the Job Since Brnovich Won’t

Former Maricopa County Recorder Adrian Fontes, who is competing for the nomination to be the Democratic candidate for AZ Secretary of State with Minority Leader and AZ Representative Reginald Bolding, has just publicly released a letter he wrote to the United States Attorney for Arizona, Gary Restaino. In that letter, Mr. Fontes requests the Arizona office open a criminal investigation of the #AZFakeElectors.

More Democratic office-seekers and office-seekers must take such an adamant and public stand in support of our democracy, and for accountability for those who sought to subvert the will of Arizona’s voters. We Democrats must make it clear to voters that a still-ongoing insurrection against our democracy is quite literally on the ballot this year up and down the ballot. It may not be a Presidential election year, but Donald Trump is still on every ballot.

Our message must include, “Vote ONLY Democratic if you value our democracy and the rule of law. The GOP is not the conservative party right now – it’s ONLY the party of insurrection, grievance, and obedience to the Sore Loser, Donald J. Trump.”
