Arizona Secretary of State Hobbs testified yesterday to the Senate Rules and Administration Committee at a hearing on threats against election workers and volunteers. The witnesses spoke about the various types of threats they had received and concerns over election worker security. They also addressed election integrity and confidence, the role of the federal government, partisan election audits, and the rhetoric of those who have yet to accept the results of the 2020 election. You can watch the entire hearing on CSPAN.

Here are some questions Secretary Hobbs answered:

Hobbs on the wild allegations of conspiracy theories about the AZ election:

Hobbs summarized why the #AZFraudit was no real audit:

Hobbs on how the constant threats and harassment of her staff degrades even the non-election functions of her department:

Hobbs expands more on how the treats and harassment inspired by partisan disinformation impacts government effectiveness:

Hobbs and Senator Merkley on why Republicans REALLY hate vote by mail (hint: its easier to misinform, suppress, and intimidate voters on election day at specific polling places in areas with minority voters):

The entire hearing is well-worth a viewing to get a real perspective on the disinformation, threats, and voter suppression that is the real aim of Trump’s army of cultists.
