BICAS Art Mart on March 26

“BICAS is hosting another Art Mart! Last year was a success, and we are continuing this inspired event for another year! The first BICAS Art Mart was created in early 2021 in response to art events being cancelled in 2020. Those art fairs were an important source of revenue for local artists. Artists were some of the hardest hit during the pandemic. They relied on local events to make a living, and many were cancelled in 2020. Events like our BICAS Art Mart are where artists come together and collaborate, creating a name and business for themselves in the community.
All proceeds from the sales of independent artists go directly back to them, and proceeds from the sales of BICAS merchandise go to support BICAS.
Save the date March 26th 9am-2pm.”
Event at the BICAS parking lot 2001 N 7th Ave
Free to attend. Local artists.

Carolyn’s note:  We went to this art mart last year and it was amazing to see the creativity of bike-themed art as well as craft and bike-friendly artisans. Check it out on March 26, starting at 9 a.m. It’s at 2001 N. 7th Avenue, south of Grant Rd., east of Stone Ave.  2001: a bike odyssey.

  1. Hey readers, don’t miss this unusual art mart today at BICAS. Great weather which we just took advantage of to walk about this mart and admire the creative artisans. There’s a great metal artisan Eric Magnuson there today selling an amazing large blue heron and a smaller roadrunner, all made from bike parts.
