Big Pharma front group 60 Plus ad for Rep. Paul Ryan’s plan to end Medicare as we know it

60 Plus Association, an organization SourceWatch has identified as a front group for the pharmaceutical industry with ties to the national GOP, is running a new ad starring House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan (R-WI), to defend the GOP plan to end Medicare as we know it and replace it with a private insurance voucher system. The $1.4 million ad buy begins June 17 on national cable channels and in broadcast markets in Ohio and Florida. The group runs through the standard GOP defense of its plan, many points of which we refuted here.
