UPDATED 3/22: BlogForArizona Founder Mike Bryan Invites You to a Party March 23rd!

UPDATE: Hi everyone, Mike here! We have met our goal for this event, but we are still accepting RSVPs and donations. Of course, you do not need to attend to donate to our LD 18 team’s re-election campaign. They are a great team and worthy of our financial support, so please consider a donation of any amount today. In a programing note of the party, we advertised that we were going to have live classical music, but I did not realize that this is the last week of symphony season and we simply could not find an available group of artists, so we pivoted and we booked Tucson’s Rob Resetar Jazz Trio and will have live jazz, instead. Sorry to any classical music fans, but we know you’ll enjoy our live jazz trio, too!

I have partnered with my friends Bill Swan and Kären Gleason (whom I met through TheDGT.org‘s Happy Hours), and my Tucson City Councilman Kevin Dahl to sponsor a fundraising party for our intrepid, talented, and dynamic team of leaders representing Tucson’s Legislative District 18.

Our LD 18 leadership and our candidates are excited to meet you!

Chairman Bodine and Rep. Gutierrez Extend an Invitation!

Please donate generously to ensure the re-election of this experienced and battle-tested team. They are doing a great job bringing our Tucson values and priorities to the Capitol, and now it’s up to us to support them in turn. Please invest in this proven team of leaders that will help Southern Arizona deliver a Democratic majority in the Arizona Legislature this year. Your donations will equally support their campaigns.

Every Democrat wants to see a Democratic majority in Arizona’s House and Senate. We can secure women’s right to reproductive choice, protect and improve our public schools, finally address the accelerating climate crisis, stop the MAGA boondoggles and waste that has driven our budget a billion dollars into the red, and – most critically – protect our precious democracy. Tucson will need a proven team of leaders like Priya, Nancy, and Chris to lead our caucus and support Governor Hobbs in enacting that Democratic agenda.

Please visit our team’s websites at PriyaForArizona.com, NancyForAZ.com, and MathisForAZ.com to learn more about these champions for Southern Arizona.

Please register your donation and RSVP today!

Thank you!! I appreciate BlogForArizona’s readers, and I would love to meet more of you in person. See you on the 23rd!

  1. Everyone having a great time at the Tucson Book Fair. Likely way too diverse or Pro First Amedmenty for JK, although if he was here, he might, accidentally, learn something. By the way there’s a Banned Book, Censored Book booth JK should stop by and see. Hi Linda L.!

  2. Glad to see you’re back. I thought that maybe you were so ashamed about how you totally blew predicting how the Supreme Court would rule in the 14th Amendment insurrectionist ballot case that you went into hiding. Anyway, who would have thought that the court’s three liberal members were actually maga-jurists?

  3. Latest voter stats for LD 18:
    Dems 62,311
    Republicans 42,684
    Others 48,409

Dem Matt Welch has filed statement of interest for State Senate in LD 18 for the Dem primary against Priya, and only Republican Len Rosenblum has filed a statement of interest for House in LD 18. Deadline for nomination petitions is April 1 I believe, for the Primary.
