BlogForArizona has a very active presence on Bluesky (https://bsky.app/profile/blogforarizona.bsky.social). We DO push notices of our new posts there, in case that’s your perferred method of notice (rather than email delivery, or loading up the blog on a browser), and to help new folks discover our blog and our posts, but that is FAR from all; we also have hot takes on matters in the news that aren’t discussed here, or which may only later become the seed of full stories and opinions here on the Blog.

Now, I’m gonna play the pity card.

We had almost 4K subscribers on the Cesspool Formerly Known as Twitter, but I just couldn’t condone what Musk hath wrought by removing moderation (except for those he chooses to censor, of course), so I ended up DELETING our account.

We could not tolerate nor participate in X any longer — even passively — by using that platform. We would not accept our content appearing alongside outright hate and eliminationist voices, and the disgusting misogyny that was rampant on the platform, leading to vile and serious criminal cyber threats and intimidation, mostly targeting women in public life – some of them right here in Arizona.

Ask almost any woman in politics about this and prepare to hear some hair-raising and harrowing true life examples of what they endure, not just ON the platform, but in their other personal online accounts, email, and even phones, clearly tracable BACK to being even MENTIONED on the Fucking Billionaire’s Bunghole Firehose of Abuse. So, I threw away our subscriber base and dissappeared from X.

Some diligent readers may have found us again on Bluesky, but FAR from all. We currently have about 500 subscribers on Bluesky (Bless each one of you!).

Please help us double — maybe triple?! — that number: please follow us if you haven’t. Tell your people about us. Follow us, like our posts, repost our posts, please. We really want to extend our reach to the millions piling into Bluesky and out of the marketing racket, blatant cash grab, and pool of incel flop sweat that X has become.
