Via EV Tribune: Bush to speak for Renzi campaign.

Bush is coming to Snottsdale to do some fundraising for embattled GOP incumbent Dick Renzi, who is receiving a surprisingly stiff challenge from Democrat Ellen Simon. I guess nobody should really surprised that Dick is holding the $500 a head fundraiser outside his own district. Most of his money comes from outside his district, anyhow, and, heck, he doesn’t even live in that lousy district.

So the event will be held instead in J.D. Hayworth’s district (for now). Funny that Bush isn’t doing any heavy lifting for J.D. Could it be that we are seeing a hierarchy of slime? Renzi is just unpopular and slimy enough to find political association with Bush unobjectionable, but Bush finds Hayworth too big a slimebag even for him? The pecking order of polling numbers; it’s a harsh ecology.
