Call For Change House Parties in Tucson

Link: MoveOn.org Political Action. There are plenty of house parties using MoveOn.org’s calling lists to turn out low-efficacy Democrats between now and election day.

Grab your cell phone, sign up for a party, and get calling!

  1. I am working with the FTC, The FBI; The Oro Valley Police; The Arizona Attorney General; The Canadian Mounted Police(www.phonebusters.com) and The Department of Homeland Security;with all of these departments having case numbers, on telemarketing fraud by call centers from Canada that are defrauding American Lenders and Contact Transfers of $75.00 per transfer to fund criminal activities. Having a Federal DO NOT CALL NUMBER does NOT mean anything to these peopleeven though Congress enacted Laws and a stiff fine for those who call registered Do Not Call Numbers.

My Campaign will NEVER use a call center or telemarketing Center because it violates the rights of American Citizens!

  2. Yes, work with the Democratic Party to GOTV. Too many organizations making phone calls to the same voters is inefficient.

  3. You might want to reconsider after looking at MoveOn.org’s record of knowingly and willfully welcoming racist, anti-Semitic, and anti-Catholic hate speech at its Action Forum.

(1)The anti-Semitic hate speech was brought to MoveOn.org’s attention through an April 1 2004 E-mail to info “at” moveon.org: almost two and a half years before MoveOn.org says it discovered the hate speech.
oMoveOn.org’s exercise of editorial control over the forum, as demonstrated by its diligent censorship of postings supportive of Israel or critical of MoveOn.org, makes it 100 percent responsible for the hate speech it allowed to stand.
(2)The FAQ page at http://www.actionforum.com/general/faq.html says in more than one place that MoveOn.org was monitoring the forum regularly and even read each comment (including by implication the hate speech) twice.
(3)Only a few pieces of hate speech (e.g. “Jew Lieberman,” “media-owning Jewish pigs”) were in fact removed. Literally dozens of examples were harvested from the Action Forum more than two weeks after the September 2 press release.

My recommendation would be to see if your local Democratic Party needs volunteers instead. MoveOn.org is very bad news.
