“How does a lawyer, legislator, election litigator, spend years pushing bills to make Arizona voting stricter, then run to oversee the very same elections, and suddenly soften all his old positions?
The rose, Kraken lawyer without a case, got a lot farther by pushing lies to his base. By 2025, going after vote centers, mail, and early ballots, now he’s running statewide saying respect your voting habits.
And every year while Arizonans voted by mail. Kolodin kept introducing bills designed to curtail the system voters use. But now out on the campaign trail, ask him about the record, and the answers start to fail.
Then election season came and statewide office called, our man saw the Secretary of State race after all, put a campaign sign up and rewrote the sales pitch. Now the guy who pushed restrictions says he’s not so radical-ish. Well, the word got around, check the legislative page, man. Pull up all the bills he introduced in the statehouse, man, vote by mail, vote centers, tell us where you stand, Arizona’s gonna know your name. What’s your name, man? Alexander Kolodin, my name is Alexander Kolodin.
There are a million votes I’d like to win, but please don’t check, please don’t check. He backed bills restricting how we vote, it’s all written. Election day, only precinct voting, there’s the mission. Ask him now exactly where he stands; things get different, but the voting record somehow keeps existing. Voters disappearing, early voting, getting cuts, mail ballot restrictions coming up again and again, something new inside, a voice saying, Alex, you’re running statewide now; better soften up the rhetoric and change the sales pitch somehow.
There would be nothing much to say if nobody checked the page, but there are bills, and there are votes from every legislative stage. Started pushing election changes in the Arizona House, talking precinct voting, mail ballots, how we count. Writing legislation, every chance he got is hands-on, planning for the future, see him now as he stands on. A statewide stage saying he’s a different man. In Arizona, you can rebrand a man. In Arizona, you can rebrand a man. In Arizona, you can rebrand a man. In Arizona, you can rebrand a man…
…Please don’t check. Alexander Kolodin. We’ve got legislative bills for you. We’ve got the bills for you. You can try to back away. You can try to change your lie. Oh, Alexander Kolodin. Arizona is watching you.
Do they know the bills you’ve backed? Do they know your voting track? Because you can not take the legislative record back.
Election season is really here. See if you can spot him. Please don’t check. Another candidate saying forget what came before him. Please don’t check. But every bill and every vote is sitting there behind him. He backed the bills. He voted for them, and sponsored them. Asked him about them, and suddenly he cannot quite remember them. There are a million things inside that voting record. So just you check. Just you check. What’s your name man?
Alexander Kolodin.”
