Also ongoing — a Childrens’ Day tiered doll display at the Mini Time Machine Museum of Miniatures, 4455 E. Camp Lowell, until May 29.  Japanese Children’s Day is celebrated in Japan on May 5 (5/5) and on the same day in Hawaii, it is still called Boys’ Day, where families fly koinobori (koi fish kites) outside their homes (indicating the # of boys in the household).
