Colbert on Herman Cain’s ‘classic joke’

Stephen Colbert says the 2012 Republican presidential primary has so many characters and twists, "it's like a Mexican telenovela that wants to deport itself." Colbert Takes On Herman Cain's 'Classic Joke' (VIDEO):

Herman Cain stumbled a bit recently when he claimed to "joke" about an electrified border fence that could kill illegal immigrants.

"Electrified fence, classic joke," Colbert said. "It's like 'Who's on first?' 'What's on fire?' I don't know how many people it's killed."

But Cain hasn't totally walked back the idea of an electrified border fence. "He's joking, unless you're into the idea," Colbert said. "In which case he means it."

Colbert takes Herman Cain's 'Nein! Nein! Nein!' tax plan a slightly different direction than I did.  I had thought about using this clip, but our PC police would have whined about it. Tell it to Colbert.
