Compelling Post Showing Kimberly Yee Probably Lying Her Butt Off About Being a Good Steward of Arizona Taxpayers Money

In a compelling post by the Teresa Leyba Ruiz Campaign for Superintendent of Public Instruction, the Democratic Nominee showcases her opponent, Kimberly Yee, probably lying her butt off about her claims of being a good steward of Arizona taxpayers’ money, with the post showing headlines of rampant Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA fraud.

This is Yee speaking at a debate between the two candidates.

“It’s interesting that we have an opponent here on the stage who only wants to invest in certain students at certain types of schools. And so, as I have supported school choice in the past, I’m also very well known at the State Capitol as a taxpayer watchdog. Over the years, I have made sure that we follow the money and make sure that it is accounted for because these are not our dollars; they are the taxpayers’ dollars.”

If Yee was serious about being the taxpayer watchdog and that she made sure she followed the money and made sure it was accounted for, then she should be disqualified from any elected office because, with all the reports of questionable, unauthorized, illegal expenses and people getting convicted by Attorney General Kris Mayes office for fraud, then she sucks at it and is horrible at our job as Treasurer and should not be rewarded with election to another statewide post.

If she was probably lying, then that should be equally disqualifying.

The voters do not need any Mini Me Trumps in office.

Finally, the only factual thing that Yee said is that Dr. Ruiz wants to invest in certain students at certain types of schools.

Yee is right there.

Dr. Ruiz wants to invest in the majority of Arizona’s children who attend the state’s traditional and charter public schools, which fingerprint their teachers, follow Arizona’s academic standards, embark on indoctrination programs, and do not list lingerie and condoms as approved school expenses.

Dr. Ruiz does not want to further an out-of-control and largely unaccountable welfare program for the wealthy that takes billions from working and middle-class Arizonan taxpayers and lets rich people whose children have mostly never set foot in one public school go to the private and indoctrination educational center of their choice on the public dime.

Voters should want a Superintendent who will invest in public schools and the children who attend them while working to reduce funding and improve accountability for the Republican education financial draining monster known as the Empowerment Scholarship Account Program.

Dr. Ruiz is that candidate.

Yee is not.
