Condi? Yeah, Right

The punditry now is all abuzz that Romney is considering Condi as his VP pick. The conventional wisdom is that the Condi possibility is thrown out there as a distraction from Mitt's Bain mess, but that he ultimately won't pick her for a number of reasons (she's pro-choice, she'll distract too much from him, etc).

What's funny is the real reason Romney won't pick Condi is too obvious, but the politically correct pundits can't go there, But I can. The racist vote is a huge demographic, and the Republicans have it sewn up these days. This started when Reagan opened his general election campaign in Philadelphia, Mississippi and accelerated when Bush Sr ran his Willie Horton ads.

So, no way is Romney picking Condi. He's not about to risk those racist votes. And, by the way, a huge portion of the racists also are misogynists, so he could piss the racist/misogynist voters off so badly they actually vote for Obama, instead of just staying home. Yes, I know most of the racists are in the South, but North Carolina and Florida are swing states this time, and if Mitt lost just a handful of racist votes in Ohio it could cost him the election.

Disagree? Like Rick Perry, I'm not in the betting business, but if I were, I'd bet you ten thousand dollars like my buddy Mitt would.
