Scottsdale Resident Shea Najafi is the star of a new Conor O’Callaghan Campaign Ad, called “Protect Women,” that highlights the House Candidates commitment to women’s reproductive freedom and health care.

Conor O’Callaghan is one of the Democratic House Congressional Candidates vying to win the CD One primary and face endangered Republican incumbent David Schweikert in a battleground contest that could determine control of the House of Representatives.
In the ad, Ms. Najafi pointed out that, thanks to the Arizona Supreme Court and most of the obstructionist MAGA Republicans in the State House okay with an 1864 Civil War era Abortion Ban , “The biggest issue in this election is protecting a woman’s right to choose.”
She then endorses Callaghan’s candidacy, stating that he would “defend the rights of women in your lives.”
Saying “the stakes couldn’t be higher,” she disparaged anti-choice and corrupt/potentially criminally liable Republicans.
Ms. Najafi further justified her support for O’Callaghan because:
“He’s a lifelong Democrat and a family man with the best chance of flipping this seat.”
She closed with:
“Protect women. Vote for Conor.”
Keep in mind that we don’t know who will win this primary, and that those of us who would like to defeat and replace Schweikert will need to unify and work together towards that end. I understand that candidates need to differentiate themselves from one another, but we need to be careful of the tone within the candidates.
