Last week I took to task Bennie White, the husband of the immediate past chairwoman of the Pima County Republican Party, Judy White, and a politico in the Pima County and Arizona Republican Party in his own right, for his shrill partisan letter to the Arizona Daily Star asserting "I don't have a representative in Congress," since Rep. Gabrielle Giffords is recovering from a gunshot wound to the head. Mark Halperin has a pejorative for this guy.
On Monday, Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords made a triumphant return to Congress to cast her vote on the federal debt ceiling bill.
Bennie White used his influence at the Arizona Daily Star to get this letter published today in the letters to the editor:

Rep. Gabrielle Giffords traveled to Washington Monday to vote for the increase of the debt ceiling, which will allow the U.S. to avoid default on its debts.
Many thanks to Gabby for her courage and diligence in representing me and all other Arizonans in CD-8 in today's important vote.
