Daniel, do the right thing

Both House Minority leader Chad Campbell and Arizona Democratic Party Director Luis Heredia have called for Daniel Patterson's resignation. Patterson needs to face the music one way or the other.

I only see two reasonable choices for a legislator who has lost the support of his colleagues and his party. He should either step down, or he should make a detailed public statement explaining why the allegations against him are not accurate. The wheels of justice may grind slow, but the world of public opinion moves far more quickly, and as a public servant, Patterson needs to give a honest accounting of his actions and explain why he deserves to remain in office, or he should step down sooner rather than later.
