Democratic Senate Candidate Ruben Gallego Reacts to MAGA-Election Denying Kari Lake Speaking In Front of a Confederate Flag

From the Guardian

At a campaign event in The Trump Store in Showlow with fellow science disbelieving, election denying, white nationalist MAGA low stars Wendy Rogers and Steve Slaton, Arizona Republican Senate Candidate Kari Lake delivered remarks in front of a confederate flag.

From Wendy Rogers social media. Notice the Confederate Flag in the back.

Among her comments were her continued insistence that the 2022 Arizona Gubernatorial results were rigged in Katie Hobbs favor, saying “They stole our government.”

Reacting to the Lake remarks and the optics, Arizona Democratic Senate Candidate, House Representative, and combat veteranRuben Gallego issued a statement which read:

“Kari Lake campaigning in front of a confederate flag is emblematic of who she is: divisive, dangerous, and unfit to serve in the U.S. Senate.

I served this country in the Marines and swore to uphold the values of freedom, equality, and Democracy that we hold dear, that we fought for and died for — not the failed Confederacy.

This is who Kari is — a power hungry politician who will do or say anything to get power. She does not represent Arizona’s values — that’s exactly why we will, and must defeat her.”

  1. General Robert E. Lee told his men after Appomattox to furl their banners and go home and teach their sons to be Americans. I see some did not get the memo.

    • He also refused to be buried in his Confederate uniform. As far as his slaves go he was an awful person but credit where credit is due.

      • Historical facts. Really?

        Nice try, libs.

Everyone knows the American Civil War was rigged by Fauci and Soros.
