Another blow to Atomic Al Melvin and his nuclear friends who love to cite France and Japan as examples of countries relying on "safe, clean" nuclear energy. Not only did "safe" and "clean" take some serious hits in the recent tsunami. Now Japan says it won't build any more nuke reactors and will create a new energy policy.
What's that new energy policy they're talking about?
“We need to start from scratch,” [Prime Minister Naoto] Kan told reporters. “We need to make nuclear energy safer and do more to promote renewable energy.”
Promote renewable energy? N-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O!
Next thing you know, Japan will be saying nuclear waste dumps atomic energy recycling is a bad idea.
Ah, Al, just like Rick and Ilsa, you'll always have Paris [and France]. But you know, don't you, that most of France's nuclear industry, including its so-expensive-no-one-can-afford-to-buy-the-stuff nuclear waste recycling program is mainly government owned and run.
Which means, the French nuke program you sing the praises of is an example of BIG GOVERNMENT SOCIALISM.
N-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O!

tawnie,
Good work answering Crazy Al’s Twitter BS, pero be careful. This guy carries a grudge and has no problem being rude to constituents in public. A recall would be great, but being downticket in 2012, when Obama is reelected will be a better demise for Crazy Al’s tenure in the state senate.
LD26 is the home of the SO.AZ Tea Party. They are well organized, and support Crazy Al. We’ll will have to do an exceptional job of GOTV to nail this guy.
Brings in 3 billion Euros per year, net. How much does King Obama business bring in?
Please someone anyone recall this man. If you read his twitter alone @senatormelvin you have reason to. I wish I had the time or resources to do this myself but I simply do not. Someone needs to do this for the wellbeing of LD 26 please
