A late announcement from the Dr. Richard Carmona for U.S. Senate campaign:
ADVISORY: Carmona to host GOTV rallies across state Friday
Rich Carmona will travel throughout the state tomorrow to meet with voters in a get-out-the-vote effort. Carmona will begin the day in San Carlos and then head to Nogales, Yuma and Flagstaff for a series of GOTV rallies.
Carmona was born to a poor Hispanic family in New York City. He went on to become a decorated Special Forces veteran for which he was awarded two Bronze Stars and two Purple Hearts for his service in Vietnam as a medic and weapons specialist, a Pima County deputy sheriff and the 17th Surgeon General of the United States.
