Liberals will be gathering once again for conversation, community, and consumption of mass quantities at the Shanty this Thursday evening starting at 6pm. The Shanty is located at 4th Avenue and 9th Street at the underpass.
There are no planned guests this evening, but Republican Congressional candidate Frank Antenori may be stopping by for a chat later in the evening following some other campaign events. Francine Shacter also has other obligations, but says she’ll stop by if she’s not too wiped out. Of course, if you happen to be an elected official or candidate for office, we at DL are always happy to buy you a beer if you drop in.
I hope you’ll pop in and partake of the public discussion of ideas and current events that makes Drinking Liberally such an engaging event for so many regular patrons.
