Come downtown and enjoy the company of your fellow liberals, meet interesting people, and enjoy one of the largest selections of beer in the city. We are interested in new ideas for events and guests that you would be interested in. Come on down and let us know what you are thinking. We are also growing to such an extent that we need additional greeters and discussion leaders beyond the co-hosts Mike and Tasha. If you are a fairly regular DLer, like to meet new people, and don’t mind greeting strangers, ask Mike or Tasha about being a member of our Welcome Wagon.
Last week was a lot of fun. We had a several special drop-ins: Congressional Candidate for CD 8 Patty Weiss and several of her staff, Tom and Ted Prezelski (Tom being a State legislator for LD 29 and Ted being a candidate for same in LD 28), and former Pima county Democratic party chairman Paul Echerstrom. We had a great turnout with lots of newcomers and regulars.
Come on down this Thursday night; who knows who you’ll find there? Only one thing is certain; you’ll find find some friendly folks when you come on down to Drinking Liberally.
