It’s time for Drinking Liberally once again. Like every Thursday liberals will gather to gab at the Shanty on 4th Avenue and 9th Street (401 E. 9th Street) starting at 6pm.
This week, our special guest is Chairman of the Pima County Board of Supervisors Richard Elias. Mr. Elias will share with us the upcoming agenda and challenges facing Pima County government.
Next week, our scheduled guest is Tucson City Councilperson Karin Uhlich.

Keep your ear to the ground and your calendar open for the Drinking Liberally SOTU Address on Tuesday, Jan. 23rd. We will be taking over a local watering hole with a big screen TV, lots of things to throw at said screen, enough ethanol to get us through the ordeal, and most importantly, fellow liberals with whom you can share the pain and confirm your continuing sanity in this penultimate year of the Bush Fiasco.
