Criminal Justice Community Forum: Fixing Cash Bail & Restoring Voting Rights

“On Saturday, October 11, 2025, the NAACP Tucson Branch and YWCA of Southern Arizona will host our second Criminal Justice Community Forum. The keynote speaker will be Lauren Beall, Staff Attorney at ACLU Arizona, who will share insights and expertise on the rights of those who are incarcerated. In addition, experts and leaders from our community will participate in panel discussions to address two priorities for NAACP Tucson: the pressing need to fix the cash bail system and the importance of restoring voting rights to Arizona citizens who have completed their sentence of probation or prison.
