Dine Out for Safety 2025
April 16 @ 7:00 am – 11:00 pm MST
by Carolyn Classen, blogger

“The 2025 Dine Out For Safety is on Wednesday, April 16! By simply dining out at one of the many delicious participating restaurants, you can support survivors of sexual violence at SACASA. Gather family and friends and make a difference!
The statistics are staggering. Every 68 seconds, an American is sexually assaulted. Sexual assault is a violation of human dignity, and its impact is felt deeply by survivors, their families, and communities everywhere.
At the Southern Arizona Center Against Sexual Assault, we’re focused on hope. We’re focused on the strength of those who have spoken out, those who are healing, and those who are actively working toward a safer world for all of us.
With critical funding at risk for programs that support survivors, it is essential to raise money to keep life-changing advocacy, therapy, support and medical care available at no-cost to survivors.
You can make a difference for survivors in our community. Dine Out for Safety on April 16th at local participating restaurants! Proceeds from your meal support survivors right here, in our community.
Dine Out For Safety is a fundraiser for the Southern Arizona Center Against Sexual Assault, which is a division of CODAC Health, Recovery & Wellness, Inc. CODAC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Federal tax identification number 23-7086112.”

Carolyn’s note: Last year I snacked at the Yellow Brick Coffee shop at The Benedictine (former monastery) on Country Club Rd. Be sure to tell the customer service rep. that you are “dining out for safety” so SACASA gets the revenue. In previous years I’ve dined out for safety at Feast, La Cocina (now Jojo’s) and Dedicated bakery on Speedway Blvd. near Swan Rd.
