Saturday, June 21: Three elected Democrats will appear a town hall on federal budget issues, including a proposal to sell public lands such as Sabino Canyon, cuts to Medicaid and food assistance programs, and tax cuts weighted toward America’s wealthiest citizens. Pima County Supervisor Rex Scott (District 1), (LD 18) Arizona Sen. Priya Sundareshan and (LD 18) Arizona Rep. Nancy Gutierrez will speak. Organizers have asked GOP U.S. Rep. Juan Ciscomani (CD 6) to attend, but he has not accepted the invitation. 1 to 3 p.m. at Rincon Congregational Church, 122 N. Craycroft Rd.”
