History of Anti-Asian Sentiments & Its Implications Today
May 6 @ 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm MST
by Carolyn Classen, blogger

Carolyn’s note: As someone whose people were put away into internment camps during WWII by Executive Order, this should be an interesting talk by Richard Koo, who is the Vice Chair of the board at CFSA.
“With 44 years of experience as a business lawyer, Richard Koo has served as outside U.S. corporate counsel for companies around the world and as a legal adviser to numerous entrepreneurs and individuals. After relocating to Tucson from New York in 2013, Richard dedicated himself to serving his new community. He has spent nine years on the Board of Catholic Community Services of Southern Arizona, including a two-year term as its President, nine years on the Tucson Medical Center Ethics Committee, and volunteered as a hospice worker until the pandemic. Through his involvement with CFSA, he remains committed to making a positive impact. He is also the CFSA Board of Trustees Vice Chair and an Advisory Board member for APIDA.”
