Isabel Garcia is a longtime human rights organizer and attorney. Serving as the Director of an indigent-defense office for over 22 years, Isabel simultaneously continued to champion for migrant rights and against the militarization of the US/Mexico border, receiving the Mexican Human Rights Award in 2006 and the Alfonso Garcia Robles Award in 2018.”
