“House on Fire. On Saturday, March 15, at 3:00, at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 545 S. 5th. Av. at 16th St. Legislative District 20 Democrats Nosotros Committee is sponsoring what we are loosely calling a “town hall” titled “House on Fire”, open to anyone who wants to join in. This is not a meeting where we or any politician gives a lecture and then asks for questions. This is a listening opportunity for us. Where do we go from here? What we can do locally to protect and preserve democracy? These are challenging times and call for new solutions— let’s brainstorm together. We will record comments from all and forward them to the elected officials , local, state, and national. We will limit speakers to 2 minutes each. We will invite representatives from other groups and several local politicians to listen and perhaps say a few words after we here form the public at large.”
