Patrick Harris, candidate for CD 7 at special DGT event

June 12 @ 12:00 pm 1:00 pm MST

by Carolyn Classen, blogger

“In an effort to bring our Members and viewers viewpoints and interaction with ALL the CD7 Special Election Democratic Primary candidates before, or as mail ballots hit our mailboxes starting June 15th, we are having a week of Special Event times so that all the candidates can join us!

Please carefully note the date of this Special Event on THURSDAY, JUNE 12th at Noon.

“Please join us to meet and question Patrick Harris with his unique message of CapTheCap, on which he is running, and hopes that all Democratic candidates might join him in advocating this platform of reform. To that end, Patrick created a custom GPT with the full text and explanation of his proposal so that the public may ask natural language questions to gain insight into his proposal to cap personal wealth at $1B via a Constitutional Amendment.

You Must Register in Advance for this Event:

Patrick’s brief biography:

Patrick Ian Harris, Sr. has spent his life proving that barriers are meant to be broken. Born into a military family and raised between Washington and West Germany, Patrick’s early years were shaped by curiosity and a love of learning that his parents instilled through travel and education. Despite personal challenges that led him to leave high school, Patrick refused to let setbacks define his future. From earning a GED to graduating magna cum laude with an MBA and qualifying for Mensa International, his story is a testament to determination and ambition.

From sweeping floors to reshaping industries, Patrick’s professional journey is nothing short of remarkable. He climbed the ranks at Safeway Inc. and McKesson Corporation, managing over $1 billion in annual revenue and filing 43 patents in healthcare technology. Beyond business, Patrick played a critical role in drafting healthcare policy aimed at combating the opioid epidemic and led the Alcor Life Extension Foundation through a strategic turnaround as its CEO. Now, he’s channeling his innovative spirit into public service, running as a Democratic candidate for Arizona’s 7th Congressional District to advocate for economic fairness, civic engagement, and transformative policies like his groundbreaking proposal, Capitated Capitalism.”
