Laura Conover, a former defense attorney won election as Pima County Attorney in Nov. 2020. She is running for re-election and is being challenged in the July 30, 2024 Dem primary by former AG & US Attorney Mike Jette.

Mike Jette’s campaign website: Home – Mike Jette for Pima County Attorney By the way, just learned that Jette announced to run for this seat in Feb. 2012, but did not file nomination petitions so he was not on the 2012 ballot as a Republican. In Nov. 2012 incumbent Dem Barbara LaWall defeated Green candidate Claudia Elquist in the General.
