“We’re gathering together to enjoy an uplifting late afternoon of song, solidarity, and action. Featuring an all-star line-up of performers, the live concert we’ll watch together will celebrate our freedoms guaranteed by the First Amendment and the people power that both fuels these rights and is essential to guarantee them. We’ll see examples from across the country of people rising up together, taking action and pushing back authoritarian forces. Come find inspiration in the performances and stories, build community as we sing along (really!) and take meaningful action together.

A core principle behind all Desert Democracy events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.”
