Morning welcome program includes a resource fair to connect with organizations doing heat resilience work and learn about services and tools available in the community.

Morning presentations will highlight how science, data, and coordinated work across federal, state, county, and city partners support heat resilience efforts across Arizona and the importance of planning ahead.

Panel discussions on:

  • How extreme heat disproportionately impacts some of the region’s most vulnerable communities, linking public health, housing conditions, worker safety, and community-based support.

Lunch will be provided, along with a performance by Mariachi Aguilitas de Davis, creating a space for continued connection and conversation among attendees.

Interactive breakout sessions focused on shared learning, practical action, and real problem-solving so attendees leave with ideas that can be applied right away.

  • Strategies for staying cool at home,
  • Beginning a conversation for developing emergency protocols during power outages,
