Human civilization began between the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers in the Middle East, including Iran. For 3,000 years, Persia (now Iran) has survived foreign invaders, from Alexander the Great to the British Empire. So when petty tyrant Trump said, “A whole civilization will die tonight” on April 7, you have to laugh.

Get real. The US is only 250 years old, and Trump is a pretend warrior with a toy sword. Iran has responded with a guerrilla war, using hidden armed speedboats and hurricanes of drones to close the Strait of Hormuz. As Henry Kissinger said, “the guerrilla wins if he does not lose. The conventional army loses if it does not win.”
The US will never get Iran’s storehouse of enriched uranium, buried 500 feet underground. It’s in 900-pound canisters as big as a home propane tank. It would take an army of construction workers in a high-risk military ground operation. This is not going to happen.
Trump is little more than a fleeting shadow to a nation that has survived a multitude of invaders:
- The Roman Empire.
- The Byzantine Empire.
- The Mongol hordes.
- Since 727 BCE, the Median, Achaemenid, Parthian, Sassanid, Safavid and Afsharid/Zand/Qajar dynasties.
- The Russian Empire.
- The British Empire.
- The Ottoman Empire.
- The Pahlavi dynasty.
- The 1953 coup by the CIA and Britain.
The US aerial blitz is par for the course. Last June, Trump used bombs to make 6 big holes in Iran. Trump contended it was a “spectacular military success.” Actually, it was the opposite.
Then, on February 28, 2026, a megalomaniac Trump bombed Iranian military sites, leadership, and infrastructure. On March 9, Trump began saying repeatedly that the war would be “over soon.” That was six weeks ago.

As a result, the Strait of Hormuz is closed, the war has spread to 10 Middle Eastern countries, and the Iranians refuse to surrender.
Meanwhile, Trump has been rejected by his own supporters -Marjorie Taylor Greene, Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones. European leaders are furious with Trump and refuse to bail him out. And Trump has squandered $51 billion in direct military expenditures in 52 days.
$51 billion would buy a year of food assistance for 22 million people, or pay the annual Medicare premiums for 20 million Americans.
Oh yeah — 57% of Americans oppose the war (not that he cares about us peasants).

I guess you’re endorsing? those you listed for CD 1 and CD 8? CD 1 has 5 Dems running including Jonathan Treble who spoke to DGT in January, and Mark Robert Gordon who’s speaking to DGT in May.
CD 8 has only 2 Dems running, one being Bernadette Greene-Placentia who spoke at DGT yesterday. Greg Whitten you mentioned is not a candidate listed by AZ SOS: https://apps.arizona.vote/electioninfo/Election/68
Also your listigs for CD 5 and 9 Dems are not the official list from SOS. Only Sterbinsky is running in CD 9. The rest didn’t submit nomination petitions.
