You are invited to a Community Special Event
Sponsored by Tucson Residents for Responsive Government
GOOD-BYE, Michael and Steve;
HELLO, Tim
Saturday, June 1, 2024
Ward 6 Community Room, 3202 E. First St.
1:00-2:30
“2024 has become the year of transition. Residents are losing the two City of Tucson officials who were most instrumental in our grassroots organization, Tucson Residents for Responsive Government (TRRG), enduring for ten years. And, TRRG, itself, is Moving Forward, putting greater emphasis on advocating for effective, participatory government.
Come June 1 to recognize the extraordinary service of out-going City Manager Michael Ortega and former Council member Steve Kozachik; hear their recommendations for how residents can better meet the TRRG goal of more meaningful public participation.
Come June 1 to meet in-coming City Manager Tim Thomure; share your experiences in a fun activity to broaden his awareness of the current state of the City’s efforts for meaningful public participation.
Please RSVP to poulosbt@gmail.com if you plan to attend.“
Carolyn’s note: Democrat Steve Kozachik (aka Steve K) was our Ward 6 Councilmember for over 14 years, from Dec. 2009 to March 2024, when he resigned to take a job with Pima County.
