Everyone’s talking about Project 2025, the presidential transition plan penned by the Heritage Foundation that would grant Trump unbridled power should he win the election. The plan would dismantle democracy by allowing the president to install loyalists and dump the code that requires a nonpartisan approach to civil servants.
It would also acquiesce to the “Christian” values of the far right, dumping the separation of church and state, and use a loyal DOJ to enforce draconian rulings. It would gut our freedoms, strip our protections around safety and health, and, yes, steal from our pocketbooks just to keep rich donors happy.
Our event is intended to provide you with best practices for concise and strategic messaging for your GOTV activities. We have to “fight fire with fire” and amplify to the politically disinterested what the GOP is doing with Project 2025. These voters typically get their political news about an election from social media, in all its inglorious algorithms, or from an occasional snippet from a mainstream newscast.
To help us out, we are hosting Rachel Bitecofer, electoral expert and author of “Hit Em Where it Hurts.” She will discuss the consistent, organized approach to messaging that we need and discuss content, format and delivery. She will also address our questions and evaluate sample messages our team has constructed.
