Fool’s Gold: Philanthropy begins (and ends) at home

This is pretty funny, at least if you're a Goldwater Institute aficionado like me.

There's a website, philanthropy.com, that covers all things philanthropic, which means nonprofits that give away money for charitable/philanthropic reasons.

On its Job Search portion, it lists a Director of Philanthropy opening at G.I.

Here's the funny part. To G.I., philanthropy means fundraising . . . for G.I. Not to give money away, but to expand that $5 million a year, donor-based revenue and keep those 6 figure salaries going.

How conservative is that? Charity begins at home, and at the office, and on the golf course, and . . .
