Foxx, Kelly, and Hernandez React to Trump Letting People Starve While Tons of Food Rots in Storage

Talk about cruelty and inefficiency in government.

Rather than feed starving people in this country and abroad, the Musk/Trump/Vance Central Committee has turned back shipments to food banks for people in need in this country and let over 60 tons of stored food items rot in storage rather than going to the 3.5 million people it could help around the world on a monthly basis.

How is this efficient and cost effective government?

How is this good government?

How do these cruel acts benefit the United States and its people in the long and short terms?

Arizona Senator Mark Kelly, responding to a news report from Reuters, summed the situation very well in the below concise post:

“Food for millions wasted, children left to go hungry, and America’s reputation permanently damaged.”

Two of the candidates looking to succeed Raul Grijalva in Arizona House Congressional District Seven expressed their views on yet another example of Donald Trump making America weaker and its people poorer, sicker, and food insecure to Blog for Arizona.

Deja Foxx commented:

“The Trump Administration is currently sitting on enough food to feed more than a million people for three months and instead of distributing it, they’re going to destroy it. That’s unconscionable. We need politicians willing to stand up and fight back against the cruelty that defines this administration. Kids shouldn’t go hungry in Tucson, in America, or across the world.”

Daniel Hernandez offered:

“Trump would rather let children starve than administer international aid that was already paid for. He is simultaneously lighting taxpayer spending on fire and throwing away thousands of tons of food. Trump proves in decision after decision that he will make cuts at the expense of working people. Growing up, my family often needed public assistance to get food on the table — so I understand how critical these funds are. I will fight every day to make sure Arizonans have the benefits, health care, and resources they need to thrive.”

  1. Why? Why is this ok so let’s waste all of that work from farmers, methane/co2 emmissions, innocent lives all for this jackass to claim that he’s saving money?!? Hell there is enough wasted food in the us just from a few grocers to feed a small town or the remaining population of Gaza it’s sick to know this and shameful to be party to it it’s a crime on its own!
